How Exercise Helps for Sleep?

Exercise also raises your core body temperature.

Elevation in core body temperature signals the body clock that it’s time to be awake.

After about 30 to 90 minutes, the core body temperature starts to fall.

The decline helps to facilitate sleepiness.

Breathing Exercises.

  • Taking slow, deep breaths is one of the easiest and most basic ways to engage  body’s natural relaxation response.
  • If you find yourself lying awake in bed, start by taking 10 deep breaths.
  • This alone can begin to slow the breath and create a sense of calm.
