Anemia complication in Fatigue and Pregnancy.

Anemia is a problem of not having enough healthy red blood cells or hemoglobin to carry oxygen to the body’s tissues.

Hemoglobin is a protein found in red cells that carries oxygen from the lungs to all other organs in the body. Having anemia can cause

  1. tiredness
  2. weakness
  3. shortness of breath.
Severe anemia may have adverse effects on the mother and the fetus. Anemia with hemoglobin levels less than 6 gr/dl is associated with poor pregnancy outcome.
  1. Prematurity
  2. Spontaneous abortions
  3. Low birth weight 
  4. Fetal deaths are complications of severe maternal anemia.
