Cluster headache

Cluster headaches begin quickly and without warning. The pain is very severe and is often described as sharp, burning or piercing sensation on one side of  head. It’s often felt around the eye, temple and sometimes face. It tends to affect the same side for each attack.

A true cluster headache is not life threatening and does not cause permanent brain damage. But, they tend to be chronic, recurrent, and can interfere with your lifestyle or work.

Lifestyle and home remedies
  1. Stick to a regular sleep schedule. Cluster periods can begin when there are changes in your normal sleep schedule. During a cluster period, follow your usual sleep routine.
  2. Avoid alcohol. Alcohol consumption, including beer and wine, can quickly trigger a headache during a cluster period.
