  • The purpose of the study was to find out whether Moringa Oleifera Extract againts the Growth of S. Epidermidis using the Paper Disk Diffusion Method (PDF).
  • The study was conducted using 3 different concentrations (2% BTV, 4% BTV and 8% BTV) of MORINGA OLEIFERA L. LEAF extract.The results of the study showed that MORINGA LEAF extract was able to inhibit the Growth of S EPIERmidis by demonstrating the inhibition zone surrounding the extract at concentrations of 8% BTV (14 mm), 4% BTV (10.8 mm) and 2% BTV (9.3 mm).
  • Moringa oligifera has antibacterial activity against the following bacteria:
  1. Escherichia coli
  2. Pseudomonas aureus
  3. Proteus vulgaris
  4. Streptococcus mongolensis
  5. Bacillus subtilus
  6. Sterfugoroniomyces
  7. Epidermidis
  • Ethanol leaf extract has the highest antibacterial activity against streptococcus mutation. Aqueous extract has maximum antibacterial activity against proteus vulgaris.
