How nuts control diabetes ?

“Nuts are  super snack food for people with diabetes because they’re  total package  low in carbs and high in protein, fiber, and healthy fat  and they create a feeling of fullness,”

Most health experts suggest that adding protein and fibre  rich nuts to your diabetes diet.

People who regularly eat tree nuts like almonds, pistachios, walnuts and cashews, have lower risk of developing

  1. Type-2 diabetes,
  2. Heart diseases.

Some studies have shown improvements in fasting blood sugar and A1c levels when consuming nuts, most likely because consuming fats with a carbohydrate-rich meal slows  absorption of carbohydrates and therefore reduces blood sugar spikes.
