Persistent Depressive Disorder – PDD

A mild but long-term form of depression.
 
Dysthymia is defined as a low mood occurring for at least two years, along with at least two other symptoms of depression.
 
Examples of symptoms include
  1. lost interest in normal activities,
  2. hopelessness,
  3. low self-esteem, 
  4. low appetite,
  5. low energy,
  6. sleep changes,
  7. poor concentration.
Treatment includes medication and talk therapy.
