NEOPLASTIC DISEASE:
-
A neoplasm, sometimes referred to as a tumor. It is an abnormal growth of cells.
-
Neoplastic diseases are disorders that lead to the growth of tumors.
-
Either benign (noncancerous) or malignant (cancerous) growths can occur.
-
Typically, benign tumors don’t spread to other tissues and grow slowly.
-
Malignant tumors, on the other hand, can grow slowly or rapidly, depending on the specific type of tumor.
-
The possibility of malignant tumors metastasizing, or spreading to other tissues and organs, exists.
-
Tumors with cancer are called Malignant Neoplasms.
-
When cells divide and grow more than they should, they develop.
-
Malignant neoplasms have the ability to travel to both distant and adjacent tissues within your body.
-
Radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and surgery are possible forms of treatment.
